Silenzio…ora parla il garante della privacy! Non è una trovata pubblicitaria per vendere pasta, bensì è il rapporto stimato in relazione alla diffusione di contenuti su social network.
Passino le foto personali, le idee politiche ed i commenti a volte un po’ violenti o troppo burleschi nei confronti di amici, ma la tendenza a mettere in mostra la propria vita privata anche invadendo i profili dei propri amici, questo no.
Il garante della privacy ha detto che la mania di “sbattere” continuamente la propria vita e soprattutto il proprio privato sui social network sta contagiando ormai milioni di persone e questa “malattia” va curata prima che degeneri.
Il motivo principale per cui si vuole “far zittire” l’eco del proprio profilo in tutto il social network, è una esigenza che indirettamente vuole essere una tutela per il cittadino. Secondo quanto scritto dal garante in una lettera al Consiglio Nazionale dell’Ordine dei Giornalisti ed alla FIEG, c’è bisogno di una maggiore sensibilizzazione su un uso corretto dell’utilizzo delle informazioni presenti sulla rete Internet.

Questo, soprattutto dal punto di vista giornalistico, può essere un pericolo anche per l’informazione stessa, infatti risulta che molti giornalisti “carpiscano” brevi notizie da siti tipo Facebook per poi pubblicarle on line. Il problema risiede soprattutto nella veridicità di queste informazioni riprese da giornalisti senza scrupoli,che risultano non verificate.

Di conseguenza, oltre al controllo della diffusione delle informazioni, si necessiterebbe di un controllo a monte da parte dei gestori dei social network che “hanno delle specifiche responsabilità”. Tra le modifiche consigliate dal garante, spunta fuori la soggezione da parte dei gestori di social network alla direttiva europea sulla protezione dei dati, oltre che al consenso informato da parte degli utenti, prima di permettere a terzi di prelevare i propri contenuti dal sito.

Novità interessanti che sembrano toccare l’eterno dilemma dei social network: privacy o non privacy, questo è il problema.
