Nel corso degli ultimi giorni avevano iniziato a circolare in rete, in maniera sempre più insistente, rumors inerenti la presunta volontà di Facebook di procedere all’acquisizione di WhatsApp, l’app disponibile per tutte le principali piattafome mobile e grazie alla quale chattare in tempo reale con i propri contatti telefonici senza spendere neanche un centesimo, a patto, ovviamente, di essere connessi ad internet.

Al momento la notizia dell’acquisizione non è stata né confermata né screditata ma tenendo conto dell’ultimo annuncio dato dal team del social network in blu il rumor va a perdere parecchia credibilità.

Durante le ultime ore, infatti, Facebook ha fatto sapere che la sua applicazione Facebook Messenger per Android potrà essere impiegata anche da coloro che non sono in possesso di un proprio account sul social network.

L’ultimo aggiornamento dell’applicazione Facebook Messenger per Android rimuove infatti l’obbligo di iscrizione al social network ragion per cui per inviare messaggi istantanei con la nuova app saranno necessari soltanto uno smartphone o un tablet ed una connessione ad internet.
