Facebook Camera

Proprio qualche giorno fa, qui su IoChatto, abbiamo avuto modo di apprendere la news relativa al lancio di Facebook Camera, l’app fotografica specifica per device iOS resa disponibile dal social network in blu più celebre al mondo e grazie alla quale gli utenti hanno l’opportunità di caricare e visualizzare foto in mobilità in un modo completamente nuovo, applicandovi accattivanti effetti ed ottimizzando la visione delle immagini.

L’app in questione risulta disponibile soltanto da pochissimo e non ha ancora fatto la sua comparsa nell’App Store italiano ma nonostante ciò ha già cambiato nome.

Infatti, onde evitare l’insorgenza di eventuali e fastidiosi problemi con Apple e con il suo Apple Store a cui, più e più volte, sono andate incontro svariate app per altrettante svariate ragioni, Facebook ha preferito modificare il nome della sua applicazione aggiungendo un punto alla fine dello stesso.

Considerando che Apple utilizza la medesima parola per identificare l’applicazione per le foto proprietaria installata nei device iOS quella in questione è andata quindi a configurarsi come una scelta tanto obbligata quanto, al tempo stesso, necessaria per la sopravvivenza dell’app.

In occasione del cambio nome Facebook ha inoltre provveduto a pubblicare un piccolo aggiornamento per Facebook Camera conseguenzialmente al quale l’utilizzo del software risulta sensibilmente migliorato.

Ad aver ottenuto particolare giovamento dal mini update è stato il caricamento delle foto ora non più soggetto ai problemi della precedente versione dell’app.

Facebook Camera, inoltre è ora funzionante in maniera migliore quanto i servizi adibiti alla geolocalizzazione risultano disattivati e, per non far mancare proprio nulla, è stato anche abilitato il supporto all’Help Center.

In molti, comunque, si stanno interrogando sul perchè Facebook abbia scelto un nome quale Facebook Camera per la sua app piuttosto che una soluzione decisamente ben più convenzionale e meno problematica così come, ad esempio, avrebbe potuto esserlo FB Camera.
