Da novembre niente WhatsApp su diversi smartphone Android ed iPhone

Spread the love

  • Samsung:  Galaxy Trend Lite, Galaxy Trend II, Galaxy SII, Galaxy S3 mini, Galaxy Xcover 2, Galaxy Core e Galaxy Ace 2.

  • LG:  Lucid 2, Optimus F7, Optimus F5, Optimus L3 II Dual, Optimus F5, Optimus L5, Optimus L5 II, Optimus L5 Dual, Optimus L3 II, Optimus L7, Optimus L7 II Dual, Optimus L7 II, Optimus F6, Enact , Optimus L4 II Dual, Optimus F3, Optimus L4 II, Optimus L2 II, Optimus Nitro HD e 4X HD e Optimus F3Q.

  • ZTE:  Grand S Flex, ZTE V956, Grand X Quad V987 e Grand Memo.

  • Huawei:  Ascend G740, Ascend Mate, Ascend D Quad XL, Ascend D1 Quad XL, Ascend P1 S e Ascend D2.

  • Sony:  Xperia Miro, Sony Xperia Neo L, Xperia Arc S.

  • Alcatel:  One Touch Evo 7

  • Altri:  Archos 53 Platinum, HTC Desire 500, Caterpillar Cat B15, Wiko Cink Five, Wiko Darknight, Lenovo A820, UMi X2, Faea F1 e THL W8.

  • Apple: iPhone SE, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus.

  1. Do Greens and crossbenchers who claim that transparency
and integrity is at the heart of their reason for entering Parliament in the first place hear themselves?

In the past few days they have mounted self-serving arguments against proposed electoral reforms that the major parties look set to come together
    to support.

The reforms include caps for how much money wealthy individuals
can donate, caps on the amount candidates can spend in individual electorates to prevent the equivalent
of an arms race, and a $90million limit on what any party can spend at an election – actually less than the major parties currently spend.

The proposed new laws also include lower disclosure thresholds for donations, thus
increasing the transparency of who makes political donations in the first place.

So the wealthy wont be able to hide behind anonymity while using their cash to
influence election outcomes – and the extent to which they can use their wealth at all will
    be limited.

The bill will further improve transparency by also increasing the speed and frequency
that disclosures of donations need to be made.

At present we have the absurd situation in which donations get made
    – but you only find out the details of who has
given what to whom many months later, well after elections are won and lost.

In other words, what is broadly being proposed will
result in much greater transparency and far less big money being injected into campaigning by the wealthy.

Teal Kylea Tink claimed the major parties were ‘running scared’ with the
policy and warned the reform would ‘not stop the rot’

Greens senate leader Larissa Waters (left) fired a warning shot – saying if it
serves only the major parties ‘it’s a rort, not reform’. Teal
independent ACT senator David Pocock (right) said: ‘What seems to be happening is a major-party stitch-up’

Anyone donating more than $1,000 to a political
party, as opposed to $16,000 under the current rules, will
need to disclose having done so. And how much they can donate will be capped.

Yet the Greens and Teals have quickly condemned the proposed new laws,
labeling them a ‘stitch-up’, ‘outrageous’ and ‘a rort, not a reform’.

They have lost their collective minds after finding out that Labor’s
proposal just might secure the support of the opposition.

I had to double check who was criticising what exactly before even starting to write this column.

Because I had assumed – incorrectly – that these important transparency measures
stamping out the influence of the wealthy must have been proposed by
the virtue-signalling Greens or the corruption-fighting Teals, in a united crossbench effort to drag
the major parties closer to accountability.

    More fool me.

The bill, designed to clean up a rotten system,
is being put forward by Labor and is opposed by a growing cabal of crossbenchers.

It makes you wonder what they have to hide. Put simply, the Greens and Teals
doth protest too much on this issue.

Labor is thought to be trying to muscle out
major political donors such as Clive Palmer

Another potential target of the laws is businessman and Teal funder Simon Holmes à Court

The Greens have taken massive donations in the past, contrary to their irregular calls to tighten donations rules
(Greens leader Adam Bandt and Senator Mehreen Faruqi are pictured)

The major parties have long complained about the influence
the likes of Simon Holmes à Court wields behind the scenes amongst the Teals.

And we know the Greens have taken massive donations from the wealthy in the past, contrary to their irregular calls to
    tighten donations rules.

Now that tangible change has been proposed, these bastions of virtue are
running a mile from reforms that will curtail
    dark art of political donations.

The Labor government isn’t even seeking for these transparency rules to take effect
immediately, by the way. It won’t be some sort of quick-paced power play before the
next election designed to catch the crossbench out.

They are aiming for implementation by 2026, giving everyone enough time to absorb and understand the changes before
    preparing for them.

Don’t get me wrong, no deal has yet been done between Labor and the Coalition.
I imagine the opposition want to go over the
laws with a fine tooth comb.

As they should – because it certainly isn’t beyond Labor to include hidden one-party advantages in the proposed
design which would create loopholes only the unions are capable
of taking advantage of, therefore disadvantaging the Coalition electorally in the
    years to come.

But short of such baked-in trickiness scuttling a deal to
get these proposed laws implemented, the crossbench should offer their support, not cynical opposition, to what is being advocated for.

They might even be able to offer something worthwhile that could be incorporated in the
    package.

To not do so exposes their utter hypocrisy
and blowhard false commentary about being in politics to ‘clean things up’.

  4. Des électeurs attendent l’ouverture d’un bureau de vote à Windhoek,
le 29 novembre 2024 en Namibie

Namibians returned to vote on Friday in 36 polling stations reopened two
days after a chaotic election, set to test the ruling party’s 34-year grip on power, was marred by technical problems.

Tensions are mounting in the historically stable and peaceful southern African nation where
Wednesday’s election was marked by long delays and
labelled a “sham” by the opposition.

Some people waited 12 hours in line to vote in presidential
and legislative polls, billed as the toughest yet for the South West Africa People’s Organisation (SWAPO) party, in power since Namibia’s 1990 independence from South africa.

Wednesday’s queues were caused by many technical problems, including issues with
tablets used to register voters and shortages of ballot papers.

In some cases, torches used to show up invisible ink had run out of batteries
and mobile voting teams had left areas with voters still in the queues, it said.

Facing criticism from both voters and parties, the electoral commission extended the vote for a second time,
giving Namibians until Saturday evening to vote.

In the capital Windhoek, at the only polling station picked to reopen, about 60 people showed
up on Friday, including Kluivert Muuondjo who arrived at 4:30 am.

The 21-year-old student said he had waited in line
until 11:00 pm on Wednesday but left before being able to vote as he
    had exams the next day.

Des électeurs attendent l’ouverture d’un bureau
de vote à Windhoek, le 29 novembre 2024 en Namibie

“Everyone will have the chance to vote,” he said.
But because Namibians can vote at any given polling station, he was worried “everyone will flock to one place again.”

The disarray led to angry complaints from opposition parties with some calling
for a halt in the electoral process.

Opposition parties were scheduled to meet on Friday and issue a joint statement, according to Christine Aochamus who represents the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) party.

Youth unemployment, enduring inequalities and the emergence of a generation born after
independence are challenging support towards SWAPO which has ruled since 1990.

Its candidate, vice-president Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, who could become the first
woman to lead the country if elected, could face an unprecedented second round in the mineral rich country.

“To open only one place in Khomas (the region of which the capital is part of) is absurd,” said voter Ensley
Engermund, who also said he couldn’t vote on Wednesday because of long queues despite trying four
    different polling stations.

“Only 1.5 millions voters are registered and we get this chaos?” asked the 49-year-old security agent.

“It was to get people frustrated.”

  13. Adam Bandt said people ‘can make their own judgment’ about him enjoying an exclusive and discretionary perk from Qantas during
a tense exchange with a journalist live on radio.

The Greens leader has been outed as a member of
the Qantas Chairman’s Lounge, an invitation-only set of catered waiting areas and services
handed out by the airline in what has been called ‘Australia’s most exclusive club’.

Mr Bandt was challenged on Monday by ABC Radio National stand-in host Steve Cannane
that he was ‘enjoying free hospitality from a company that has illegally sacked hundreds of workers’.

Mr Bandt replied: ‘And I’ll declare that and people can make their own judgement about what
    they think about that.’

Cannane was referring to the Federal Court’s ruling that
Qantas illegally sacked 1,700 workers at the
start of the Covid pandemic in a case brought by Transport Workers
    Union.

Commenting on the sacking in June of 2020, Mr Bandt called it a ‘devastating day for thousands of Qantas workers & their families’ in a Facebook post.
‘We’re thinking of you,’ he wrote.

Cannane challenged Mr Bandt further saying: ‘You don’t
think you should be a little purer on this and just not
    take their (Qantas’s) hospitality?’

Mr Bandt said he always made declarations about matters such as this and argued that
the party’s policies to tax big corporations heavily show the
perks were not impacting the Greens.

How Greens leader Adam Bandt spent thousands on private jet flights while lecturing YOU
    about climate change

Mr Bandt was spotted in September flying business class from Melbourne to Canberra seated next to Senator Jacqui Lambie.

Albanese government ministers Tim Watts and Catherine King were on the same flight but were with the masses in economy class.

It has been previously reported that Mr Bandt opts to frequently fly
business despite his party’s core policy of cutting C02 emissions.

Flying business class emits about three times as much carbon as economy class because the seats take up more
room and more of them are empty, according to a World Bank study.

Fellow Greens MP Max Chandler-Mather last year said he had
shunned a Chairman’s Lounge membership and refuses to travel business
    class.

Earlier this year Mr Bandt’s flying habits led to controversy.

Mr Bandt’s flying habits have been a previous source of controversy after
it was revealed he frequently opts for business
class and has even taken private jets to election events

Mr Bandt used two private jets during the
2022 federal election campaign, landing tax
    payers with the $23,000 bill.

One flight was between Queensland regional centres Townsville and Rockhampton on March 7 but
he also boarded a $15,000 private plane along the well-travelled Brisbane to Canberra route to attend his party’s election campaign launch.

Mr Bandt isn’t the only politician in the hot seat with Prime Minister
Anthony Albanese being asked if he has included both his son and partner as
    ‘plus one’ Chairman’s Club members.

He is also being asked about free flight upgrades including an international
one he is alleged to have received from Qantas in new book The Chairman’s Lounge
authored by former Australian Financial Review
    columnist Joe Aston.

The Greens are licking their electoral wounds after
the Queensland state poll, where they are battling to hold onto their two seats after stating they
aimed to triple their representation in parliament.

With 72 per cent of the vote counted they appear to have
retained the Brisbane seat of Maiwar but suffered a 4.6 per cent
    swing to the ALP.

However, they remain behind South Brisbane, which has seen a massive 12.4 per cent swing to Labor with 64 per cent of votes
    counted.

WHAT IS THE QANTAS CHAIRMAN’S CLUB?

The Qantas Chairman’s Lounge is an invitation-only club
approved by the company chairman, with the guest list a closely-guarded secret.

It has been dubbed ‘the most exclusive club in the country’ and comes with a distinct black card.

Members include senior-ranking MPs including ministers,
state premiers and the Prime Minister, leaders of major unions and
sporting groups, Qantas ambassadors, selected A-list celebrities, major corporate figures and high-profile media personalities.

The clubs can be found in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra,
Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide but are not signed, you have to know where to
    look.

Inside you will find expensive wood and brass furnishings,
wool carpet and marble flooring all bathed in natural light.

Members enjoy fine à la carte dining with a complimentary premium array of beers, spirits
and Australian wines. Wine bottles are often given as departing gift

Facilities may also include spas, showers and an assortment of books and magazines.

Members may bring in two guests at a time.

Lounge attendants personally alert you when your flight is to board and your personal
preferences are logged for each flight. Membership also entitles you to first-class
    facilities at Qantas partner airlines.

  14. Former first lady Melania Trump said she was completely comfortable with posing
    nude during her modeling days.

In her memoir Melania, which was released Tuesday, she recounts how her nude photos were put on the cover of The New York Post
during the closing weeks of the 2016 presidential election.

The tabloid used the ‘disgusting heaadline,’ as Melania described it, ‘Menage
    à Trump.’

‘My upbringing in Europe had fostered a different perspective on nudity, a more open and accepting attitude,’ she wrote.

‘We were accustomed to beaches where nudity was commonplace, a natural and
    uncontroversial aspect of life.’

She noted how ‘attitudes toward the female body in the United
    States were starkly different.’

Melania Trump at a Vogue event in 2000. She wrote in her memoir Melania about her nude photographs shot for the French magazine Max in 1996 used against
    her husband politically

The controversial photos were from a 1996 photoshoot from
a now defunct French fashion magazine called Max.

‘The photos had never been circulated in the United States,’ she recalled.
‘The magazine that had originally published them had ceased to
exist long before these images were unearthed, and now they were being shared for the
sole purpose of damaging Donald’s campaign.’

She wrote that the photos ‘were not a source of shame for me.’

‘The female form was once revered and honored in Western culture.
Historically, artists produced magnificent paintings and sculptures that exalted the beauty of the feminine
figure. Nudity was a medium through which humanity was elevated and celebrated,’ Melania
    sid.

‘This sentiment resonated deeply with me when I posed for Vogue during my pregnancy,’ she wrote.

Throughout the book she mentions her working relationship with Vogue and its longtime top editor Anna
    Wintour.

These days Wintour is actively supporting former President
Donald Trump’s Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris.

A 1998 photo of Melania Trump depicting her in a white bikini.
The former first lady said she never felt shame about posing nude but was angered that her nude modeling photos were used to try to hurt her husband’s first presidential
    campaign

‘I believed then, as I do now, that women should take pride in their bodies,
    not feel shame,’ Melania continued.

‘During my modeling days, posing nude was commonplace and hardly scandalous,’ she
said. ‘To me, those images were artistic and tasteful,
fitting for a publication like Max, which showcased
    many renowned super-models.’

But there was another problem with the photographer selling the photos of Melania to the newspaper – he originally said the photoshoot happened a year before.

‘This misinformation led to unfounded allegations that
I had illegally worked in the United States, a claim propagated by the New York Post,’ she wrote.

‘Although the photographer later admitted the error, the damage was done – sensationalized lies
about me spread worldwide, driven by a shameful pursuit of scandal and profit,’ the former first lady added.
