Sophos incita Facebook a proteggere meglio i suoi utenti scrivendo una lettera aperta

Alcune ore fa Sophos, la nota società dedita alla sicurezza online, si è prodigata nella stesura di una lettera aperta a Facebook mettendo in luce alcune piccole ma importanti peche relative la protezione degli utenti sul noto social network ed i problemi di privacy ad esso associati.

La lettera, dalle dimensioni brevi ma dai contenuti ben chiari ed altamente comprensibili, tende a mettere in luce tre punti fondamentali che, a detta dei membri di Sophos, Facebook dovrebbe prendere seriamente in considerazione per proteggere al meglio i propri iscritti e, conseguenzialmente, migliorare l’intero grado di sicurezza del social network.

Nella lettera, dunque, Graham Cluley, Senior Technology Consultant di Sophos, scrive che sarebbe consigliabile evitare la condivisione delle informazioni eccezion fatta per quelle circostanze in cui viene fornito il consenso esplicito da parte degli utenti, controllare ed approvare gli sviluppatori di applicazioni per Facebook riducendo notevolmente virus e truffe online che divengono sempre più frequenti e, infine, utilizzare l’https sempre e comunque ed attivarlo come impostazione predefinita al fine di garantire una connessone protetta.

Si tratta, sostanzialmente, di tre utili suggerimenti che, di certo, qualora presi “alla lettera” (è proprio il caso di scriverlo!) dal social network per eccellenza permetterebbero di incrementare ancor di più il grado di protezione di ciascun iscritto.

    what if you were to create a killer title?
    I am not saying your content isn’t good., but what if you added a
    title that makes people want more? I mean Sophos incita Facebook a proteggere meglio i suoi utenti scrivendo una lettera aperta | IoChatto is kinda boring.
    You could look at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create article titles to get viewers to click.
    You might try adding a video or a related pic or
    two to grab readers interested about what you’ve got to say.

    Just my opinion, it might make your blog a little
    livelier.
