La nuova testata di Twitter? Poche le aziende che la utilizzano

Per l’ennesima volta Twitter si è rifatto il look e ha cambiato la sua immagine di copertina con la possibilità di aggiungere una testata stile Facebook. Non si tratta di un cambiamento epocale, tuttavia lo scarso interesse dimostrato dalle grandi aziende presenti su Twitter sorprende pure noi di IoChatto.

Al momento solo l’8% dei grandi marchi presenti sul microblog ha aggiornato l’immagine di copertina.

I primi a farlo sono stati Samsung, SAP, Nike, Nintendo, Ford, Moet & Chandon, Armani e Starbucks. Gli altri brand, invece, sembrano ancora affezionati al vecchio Twitter.

Secondo Mashable ci vorranno almeno altre due settimane prima che la nuova testata prenda piede, tuttavia l’impressione è che le aziende non sentano il bisogno di aggiungere un altro strumento visuale di branding, almeno non su Twitter, un social network che ha fatto dell’essenzialità il suo punto di forza.

Ma il vero motivo potrebbe essere che il nuovo design non ha un’aria molto professionale, almeno se lo paragoniamo alla copertina di Facebook. Il posizionamento della nuova testata, con l’avatar al centro e sotto la biografia scritta in bianco, sta suscitando qualche perplessità. L’impressione generale è che l’attuale layout sia qualcosa fatto alla buona, con approssimazione e poco gusto.

  27. When I initially left a comment I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on every time a comment is added I get four emails with the exact same comment. Perhaps there is a way you can remove me from that service? Thank you!
