Come cancellarsi da Google+

Abbiamo davvero bisogno di un altro social network? Con l’arrivo di Google+ ce lo siamo chiesti in molti. D’accordo, la funzione dei videoritrovi è molto carina, e le cerchie per condividere le cose solo con chi vuoi tu fa comodo a molti di noi. Però se abbiamo già un account su Facebook e Twitter (per non parlare di FriendFeed), magari Google+ non ci serve, e dopo qualche ora di utilizzo sentiamo già il bisogno di cancellarci da questo social. Ma come si può fare?

Cancellarsi da Google+ non è facile e bisogna smanettare un po’ tra le impostazioni. Ma almeno possiamo scegliere tra diverse opzioni, sia temporanee sia permanenti. Iniziamo cliccando sulla guida a Google+ e andiamo nella Guida alla Privacy. A questo punto, clicchiamo ancora una volta su Impostazioni.

Eccoci davanti a tre opzioni tra cui scegliere.

La prima è la meno drastica, e consente modificare le impostazioni di visibilità del profilo in modo da nascondere tutto dalla visualizzazione pubblica, tranne il nome e la foto. Basta fare clic sull’icona del profilo, scegliere Edit e poi fare clic su About.Da qui potete modificare le diverse sezioni del profilo e scegliere cosa rendere visibile e a chi. Ma alla fine ricordate di cliccare su Salva.

La seconda permette di fare il downgrade dell’account, eliminando il profilo Google+ ma senza rinunciare a Gmail e agli altri servizi Google.

La terza e ultima opzione per liberarsi da Google+ è quella di cancellare completamente il proprio account Google. Ma ci sembra una soluzione troppo drastica, non siete d’accordo?
