Un tempo i fiori erano reali e le dichiarazioni mostravano come un uomo o una donna potessero impallidire o farsi rossi come il fuoco dinnanzi ad una persona per cui il si trovava a battere. Oggi non è più così, anche perché il social networking ha preso il sopravvento e di conseguenza ha fatto si che i rapporti mutassero in essere e dal nascere.

 

Un recente sondaggio pubblicato di recente su Mashable, ha dimostrato però come l’amore on line non sia così diverso da quello dal vivo, secondo i 500 individui intervistati tutti con età superiore ai 18 anni. L’evoluzione di questa nuova forma di creazione del rapporto sociale, nasce nei lontani albori della diffusione di Internet, quando a farla da padrone erano le chat. Gli utenti si identificavano all’epoca attraverso dei nick name che potevano diventare un’arma a doppio taglio nel momento in cui i nostri amici avessero scoperto la provenienza dello stesso e cose tipo “caramellina79”, oppure “orsacchiotto82”, cominciavano a diventare l’incubo dei possessori delle stesse.

 

Gli amori sbocciati in quell’era sono veramente tantissimi e soprattutto riguardavano distanza kilometriche. Oggi, invece, con la diffusione così capillare di un social network come potrebbe essere Facebook, anche questi utenti hanno avuto il loro nuovo battesimo, ovvero i Social Media Lovers. Questa nuova categoria, vive ancora inizialmente di amore platonico come quello che un tempo sussisteva sulle chat, però, con una differenza fondamentale: che con i nuovi mezzi di comunicazione che includono filtri e quanto altro, si può andare a scegliere già un potenziale partner nelle proprie vicinanze, senza andare tanto lontano rispetto alla propria vita quotidiana. Il fenomeno è in costante crescita e secondo gli intervistati, un buon 23% degli stessi mette tra le caratteristiche principali per la scelta dell’avvio di una conversazione con gli sconosciuti le opinioni politiche e quelle religiose, oltre che i gusti musicali e cinematografici.

    found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to
    her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab
    inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
