Sotto accusa MySpace, Facebook, Badoo e Second Life, che secondo l’accusa portano a danni non indifferenti per i fruitori. L’inchiesta dice che stare da mattina a sera davanti ad un social network, magari per la maggior parte soprattutto degli studenti pure 10 ore al giorno, è troppo per l’organismo. Probabilmente il basarsi su una dose giornaliera di 10 ore è esagerato, ma i biologi del centro, hanno comunque voluto mettere in guardia i fruitori, associando la frequenza “ossessiva” ai social network con la comparsa di malattie gravi quali il tumore.
Lo studio è stato pubblicato dallo psicologo Aric Sigman sulla rivista dell’Istituto: Biologist. L’autore ha dichiarato che: “non ci sono prove che dimostrino un effetto positivo dei social network sulla capacità di socializzare, ma esistono prove che invece ne fanno emergere un lato negativo, almeno per la salute“.
