Lo 007 inglese messo a rischio da Facebook

Quotidianamente parliamo dei danni che provoca il “tanto amato” social network, da quando è diventato un mezzo di diffusione comune. Su Facebook ci sono tutti, ma soprattutto c’è tutto. Finchè sei un giovincello di provincia che mette on line foto ed informazioni riguardo le sue bighellonate o ancora della sera dell’ubriacata generale a casa di un amico, non dovrebbero esserci grossi problemi (a meno che ciò non sia stato nascosto ai genitori). Ma se sei Sir John Sawers, il nuovo capo designato dell’MI6, i servizi segreti britannici, qualche problema potrebbe esserci. I rischi che corre lo 007 dell’Inghilterra, sono venuti a galla dopo che la sua gentile signora, ha tranquillamente pubblicato sul proprio profilo del social network più noto Facebook, delle fotografie con luoghi in didascalia che ritraggono Sir Sawers insieme a lei ed i figli. Tutto ciò in momenti privati e di relax, come le vacanze ultime di cui sono presenti fotografie con amici e soprattutto attori noti dello star system. Si è sollevato così un polverone che ha sollevato enormi questioni sulla sicurezza. A mettere in mostra le immagini ed amplificare questa pubblicazione è stato il “Mail on Sunday” che ha pubblicato addirittura sul giornale, alcune delle foto in questione che sono state poi eliminate dalla rete Internet. Fatto sta che lo lo stesso giornale ha contattato il Foreign Office per informarli della vicenda.
Londra ad oggi è sede di questa polemica che ormai è esplosa come una bomba al centro della vita dello 007. Gli inglesi si chiedono se sia ancora “diplomatico” tenere Sir John Sawers, attuale ambasciatore della Gran Bretagna all’Onu e nominato a capo degli 007 solo dieci giorni fa a capo dell’incarico fino al Novembre 2009, come previsto dalla legge. Di sicuro questa volta l’incontro tra liberaldemocratici e conservatori c’è, ma per la richiesta fatta al Primo Ministro Gordon Brown di avviare una inchiesta sia sul caso Sawers che su un nuovo caso che vorrebbe il controllo degli account di Facebook ed altri social network di tutti i profili istituzionali. Il Ministro degli Esteri David Miliband, invece è dalla parte di Sawers e tenta di ridimensionare l’accaduto (l’MI6 è responsabile per i servizi d’informazione dall’estero). Il caso della vita vuole che proprio su Facebook era apparsa la “Campagna per avere accesso a riserve di talenti che rappresentano la società britannica di oggi”.
