Il social network, è stato diffuso al mondo soprattutto come una moda. La voglia di fare qualcosa che fanno tutti, oppure essere in un luogo (virtuale) dove ci sono tutti, o ancora, avere la possibilità di conoscere nuove persone per relazioni personali avviate da single e persone in cerca di una seconda opportunità.
Con l’evolversi di questo fenomeno, molti sono stati i settori interessati a questo ambiente, a partire da quello delle aziende, che hanno cominciato a pubblicizzarsi su queste reti sociali, per estendere la propria popolarità, o ancora passando per i settori dell’innovazione hardware che sempre più hanno tentato di realizzare dei dispositivi che siano legati al mondo dei social network per permettere agli utenti iscritti di essere sempre on line.

Secondo gli ultimi dati, viene fuori che la maggior parte delle persone che in questo periodo di crisi mondiale ha perso il lavoro o si trova in cassa integrazione, è alla ricerca di una nuova occupazione proprio a partire dal proprio profilo su social network. Il sito sociale che va per la maggiore per questa tipologia di servizio (anche perchè parliamo di un così detto social network business), è LinkedIn.

Questo sito che permette una sorta di “incontro virtuale” tra domanda ed offerta, sembra proprio aver avuto un rialzo delle iscrizioni a seguito di questo fenomeno di crisi, oltre a contare un numero molto grande di iscritti che si identifica come disoccupato oppure come cassa integrato.
Facebook e Twitter, sono li a guardare questo fenomeno ed in alcuni casi sono risultati anche degli utili alleati per farsi conoscere ad un pubblico più vasto di quello (fino ad oggi) di LinkedIn.

Restano però più alte le possibilità di trovare un lavoro su questo social network business, dati gli strumenti messi a disposizione come la pubblicazione del proprio Curriculum Vitae oppure la descrizione di tuttele competenze.
Inoltre risulta molto utilizzato il motore di ricerca lavoro che mostra le opportunità presenti in real time.
