Google Me slitta a primavera

Secondo indiscrezioni, la data di lancio del progetto segreto di Google, ovvero il social network Google Me, slitta alla primavera del 2011. Fino a quel momento, la rete sociale di Big G. resterà top secret.

Tutto ciò viene confermato anche da un portavoce di Google, che in un’intervista a Mashable ammette che l’azienda “sta sperimentando il modo di incorporare funzionalità social all’interno di Google“. Tuttavia, ancora non emergono novità rilevanti in proposito.

Anzi, proprio il riferimento a queste “funzionalità social” danno modo di pensare che Google stia lavorando a degli add ons da inserire in un prodotto preesistente (Gmail? Buzz?) piuttosto che a un nuovo social network da contrapporre a Facebook, smentendo così le voci iniziali.

Forse Google ha ancora timore di lanciarsi nel mercato delle reti sociali dopo il fallimento di Google Wave?
