Si sta discutendo da un po’ di tempo, su un problema riscontrato dai possessori di smartphone con a bordo Windows Phone 7. Si tratta di un traffico dati 3G fantasma, che nessuno era ancora riuscito a comprendere da dove venisse.

La Microsoft ha comunicato di aver isolato il problema, nel senso che la certezza sta sul fatto che il traffico proviene da una soluzione di terza parte e non dallo stesso sistema operativo. Il primo indiziato a detta di molti è Facebook. Secondo la Microsoft, leggiamo infatti nel bollettino che la colpa è sicuramente di “una soluzione di terze parti, comunemente utilizzata sui Windows Phone ad essere configurata in modo da causare potenzialmente dei download di dati più ingenti del previsto”.

Ovviamente la casa di Redmond non ha fatto nomi e cognomi, ma si è limitata nel dire che sta mettendo a punto delle correzioni per risolvere il problema con la casa produttrice di questa applicazione terza.
