I social network, ancora una volta si avvicinano a sopra valere nei confronti dei media tradizionali, ed il nuovo input datoci a riguardo è nella nuova trasmissione di Michele Santoro.

Stiamo parlando di “Tutti in piedi”, trasmissione che grazie ai social network ha avuto un interessante riscontro di pubblico, ma soprattutto ha vissuto una serie di arricchimenti grazie ai commenti diffusi su Twitter e su Facebook, che hanno permesso agli spettatori di interagire con il giornalista.

La manifestazione si è trasformata quindi, grazie ai social network, in una grande chiacchierata virtuale che ha visto una bella organizzazione in occasione dei 110 anni del sindacato FIOM e che deve alla rete il suo grande successo.

A partire da una pagina Facebook dedicata alla manifestazione, lo “spettacolo” tenutosi a Villa Angeletti di Bologna, ha avuto tantissimi riscontri che hanno visto l’aumentare dei numeri di commenti a dismisura. Oltre a questo, la potenzialità del web si è vista in quanto la trasmissione era visibile in streaming on line.

Non è mancato l’apporto di Twitter, che anch’egli ha portato tantissime persone a scrivere riguardo il programma. Tutti in piedi è stato rilevato soprattutto dagli utenti di Twitter con un hashtag comune che è stato #tuttinpiedi, che in pochissime ore è diventato immediatamente uno dei tag tra i più usati.

La democrazia mediatica è venuta fuori. Principalmente, quello che abbiamo potuto osservare è valido su due fronti. Il primo è legato al fatto che il web movimenta persone, anche dal punto di vista che spinge verso i media tradizionali (ed in alcuni casi, anche contro i media tradizionali), oltre a questo però si vede benissimo anche come la possibilità di utilizzare i social network, riesce ad aumentare da un certo punto di vista, lo status della democrazia, permettendo ai tanti di dire la propria senza limiti della censura.
