Tumblr ha aperto una nuova sede in Virginia. Pur mantenendo il quartier generale a New York, lo staff ha deciso di aprire una nuova sede a Richmond, dove risiedono gli sviluppatori della piattaforma. Questa piccola “espansione a sud” era diventata necessaria per agevolare il piano delle nuove assunzioni previste nel mese di Marzo.

Attualmente Tumblr è alla ricerca di developers per sviluppare nuove Tumblr apps, e l’offerta di lavoro è rimasta “affissa” sulla Dashboard della piattaforma per diversi giorni. Tra i requisiti preferenziali, naturalmente, c’è la residenza a Richmond. I fortunati assunti varcheranno la soglia dei nuovi uffici, ribattezzati ironicamente dallo staff Corrugated Box Building.
