Saltato il Week-end storico delle fusioni per l’ICT

Il week-end scorso, ha visto i rumors del marketing di aziende che si occupano di ICT darsi alla pazza gioie tra le notizie, e tra i “big” di cui si sono fatti i nomi, è uscita fuori SUN, IBM, Google e Twitter. Le voci vogliono l’acquisizione di SUN da parte di IBM sempre più vicina, questo perchè si parla di una proposta ufficiale con la riduzione della richiesta. Situazione quasi opposta invece quella tra Google e Twitter, che seppur sembrasse cosa fatta, le smentite sono arrivate fino in TV.
L’accordo che vede invece le società di Armonk e Santa Clara, sembrano arrivare dopo il frastico ridimensionamento della richiesta da parte di SUN. Questo perchè, le azioni della società viaggiano in borsa ad un importo di 8,50 dollari e SUN accetterebbe l’offerta già a 9,50 / 10 dollari.
Rimanendo nell’ambito del social networking, possiamo tornare ad occuparci dell’accordo tra il motore di ricerca multiservizi Google ed il più grande servizio di microblogging Twitter. L’interesse da parte di BigG, è aleggiato nell’aria per molto tempo, ma lo scoop-flop di TechCrunch (curato da Michael Arrington) nella notte tra giovedì e venerdì ha stupito tutti.
Le cifre di cui si era parlato erano alquanto differenti da quelle che mesi addietro erano state rese note per un eventuale accordo tra Google e Facebook. Twitter varrebbe circa 250.000.000 invece del mezzo miliardo di dollari di Facebook. A differenza però dell’offerta eventuale per Facebook, Google era interessato ad acquisire quote per Twitter, bensì proprio ad acquistarlo. A mettere fine a tutte le voci è stato il co-fondatore di Twitter, Biz Stone, dichiarando che: “Puntiamo a costruire una azienda profittevole, indipendente e siamo solo all’inizio del percorso”.
Dal canto di Google invece, l’unico interesse potrebbe essere quello di acquisire le performance di Twitter nel raccogliere ed indicizzare i contenuti in real time, per poter includere queste tecnologie nel proprio search engine. La scusante da parte di Arrington non è arrivata, bensì è andato oltre nella bufala dichiarando che ad oggi, la cifra in gioco per accaparrarsi Twitter, l’astro nascente di Internet, è di oltre un miliardo di dollari e che anche Microsoft è interessata al prodotto.

I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little vanilla. You could look at Yahoo’s home page and watch how they createwrite news headlines to get viewers to click. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to get readers interested about what you’ve written. Just my opinion, it might bring your postsblog a little livelier.
