Facebook ha deciso di mostrarsi al grande pubblico non più solo come uno spazio ludico, ma diventando utile all’utente. Infatti, ha stretto un accordo con il noto JobFinder CareerBuilder per la pubblicazione on-line degli annunci di lavoro. Il servizio, ha l’opportunità di mostrare solo ed esclusivamente le offerte a chi ha i requisiti per i profili ricercati.
Mike Murphy, vicepresidente del settore di vendita per Facebook ha dichiarato che: “Non inseriremo nulla nei profili di nessuno. Abbiamo semplicemente intenzione di offrire annunci pubblicitari utilizzando Facebook Ads per possibili posizioni lavorative, e gli utenti potranno scegliere di parteciparvi o meno“.
La parola poi è passata a Richard Castellini, vicepresidente del settore marketing e consumer di CareerBuilder: “CareerBuilder sta investendo copiosamente per fare promozione sul sito e nella rete di Facebook, così facendo avremo presto la possibilità di rivendere alcuni spazi pubblicitari per continuare per conto dei nostri clienti“.
