Facebook aiuta il padrone di casa

Ancora una volta il noto Facebook, tra attacchi da parte dei parlamentari e blocco di funzionalità da parte di giudici e forze dell’ordine, torna a dare “simbolicamente” un aiuto involontario. Già in passato  è capitato di perdere il lavoro per commenti non tanto piacevoli lasciati on line nei confronti della propria azienda, o addirittura di perdere l’amore per “presunti” flirt virtuali. O ancora con altri network tipo Google Street, potrebbe essere accaduto di esser visti sul balcone di una casa non propria ad amoreggiare con qualcuno diverso dalla propria compagna (caso accaduto di recente a Napoli ndr) ed essere mollati di punto in bianco.
Questa volta stiamo parlando di un caso di devastazione del proprio bene immobile dato in affitto. Una casa devastata da inquilini abbastanza allegri e festaioli che hanno più o meno raso al suolo gli interni di un appartamento della Gran Bretagna. La proprietaria dell’appartamento Carolyn Lorimer, di 26 anni, ha dichiarato al The Sun: “Non potevo credere ai miei occhi: gente che saltava sui mobili, che ballava sul tavolo della cucina, buchi nelle pareti e la televisione in frantumi”. Bel colpo al cuore, ma come ha fatto la ragazza a rendersi conto dell’accaduto senza entrare fisicamente nel suo appartamento? Facile, grazie a Facebook. Le condizioni del suo villino, una casa al mare in zona Folkstone, al centro del Kent erano pessime in quanto gli affittuari erano soliti dare feste con estranei rumorosi. I ragazzi hanno in effetti pubblicato su Facebook delle foto delle loro feste selvagge accompagnate da birra ed alcolici, ed è proprio li che la ragazza ha potuto rendersi conto di cosa era successo alla sua casa.
Carolyn la ricordava alquanto diversa da come l’avevano lasciata: “Era la prima volta che lasciavo l’appartamento, è stato un incubo. La coppia era stata trovata da un’agenzia e mi avevano assicurato che era molto a modo. Ma queste immagini mostrano una storia molto diversa”.
Le conseguenze sono state rapide: lo sfratto degli inquilini ed una causa per vandalismo in corso per recuperare almeno in parte i danni subiti, ma dopo le foto pubblicate sul The Sun, come è possibile darle torto?
