Cell.it è ancora chiuso per manutenzione?

Secondo voi è possibile che una chat rimanga chiusa per manutenzione da ben 3 anni? E’ una domanda che mi pongo spesso aprendo il sito Cell.it. Questa community era strutturata da una chat molto semplice da utilizzare e molto intuitiva, insieme ad un servizio (forse mai funzionante?) grazie al quale si potevano inviare sms gratis a chiunque. Nello specifico si trattava di Classic: che permetteva l’invio di un messaggio ad un numero di cellulare, Power: che permetteva l’invio di un messaggio a 5 numeri contemporaneamente e Ipsedix che permetteva l’invio di aforismi a numeri di telefono da noi immessi. Tutto molto bello, interessante e non funzionante. Ma perchè?

Ricordo che fu la prima chat che frequentai. Ricordo ancora lo stupore e fascino nel parlare con 5 persone allo stesso tempo, discutere con gente intelligente, scherzare, litigare… eh forse quest’ultima più di tutte le altre. Ricordo i nick più frequenti come: Angel of Death, Pigiamino, Florence, ecc… che fine hanno fatto tutti? Ai tempi non conoscevo ancora messenger e non ho avuto l’occasione di aggiungerli tra i contatti. Non sapevo come funzionasse.

Un giorno, dopo 5 mesi che il servizio tornò a funzionare, magicamente riprese a vivere. Solo per 24 ore. Ma la fedeltà degli utenti si è dimostrata sempre la stessa. C’erano nuovamente tutti e tutti felici della riapertura. La gioia durò qualche ora dopo di che, aprendo la pagina di login, si vedeva scritta sempre la solita frase: Chat chiusa per manutenzione, scritta che troviamo ancora adesso.

In molti abbiamo provato ad inviare un messaggio chiedendo se fosse possibile riaprire Cell.it ma non abbiamo mai ricevuto alcuna risposta. Solo rabbia e null’altro. Ma che fine hanno fatto? E’ un progetto che hanno ormai dimenticato e che non tengono più in considerazione? Pare proprio di si. Non capisco come mai un servizio che poteva realmente riscontrare successo per le sue caratteristiche debba fare questa fine. Se qualcuno di voi vecchi utenti di Cell.it legge questo post fatevi sentire e rilasciate il vostro vecchio nick. Riuniamoci di nuovo.
