Azioni Facebook, il network vale 100 miliardi di dollari

Nelle prossime ore Facebook dovrebbe finalmente sbarcare a Wall Street, confermando i rumors dei giorni precedenti che fissavano proprio a questo mercoledì la registrazione di un offerta pubblica iniziale (IPO), già indicata come la più alta di tutti i tempi: tra i 5 e i 10 miliardi di dollari. Se l’IPO verrà confermata Facebook balzerà di diritto nell’Olimpo delle aziende più importanti del mondo. Naturalmente l’operazione avverrà sotto la guida della Morgan Stanley, come già anticipato dal Wall Street Journal, e in caso di esito positivo le azioni saranno disponibili già da maggio.

Ma quanto vale Facebook sul mercato? Se il valore dell’offerta iniziale sarà confermato, il social network di Mark Zuckerberg varrà qualcosa come 100 miliardi di dollari. Dunque Facebook potrebbe offrire i propri titoli fra i 34 e i 40 dollari l’uno.

Fino a poco tempo fa, sembrava che Facebook non nutrisse interesse verso un’eventuale quotazione in borsa, ma oggi la società sembra intenzionata a seguire le orme di Google, le cui azioni hanno continuato a salire dopo il debutto sul mercato.
