Una delle caratteristiche più richieste dagli utenti del popolare programma di messaggistica e telefonia voip Skype (e mai implementate dalla Software House) è quella di poter usare più account contemporaneamente, ad esempio per essere online sia con il proprio account Skype privato, riservato agli amici, che con un account “business” per gli affari. Per usare due account Skype simultaneamente possiamo ricorrere però ad un semplice quanto efficace “trucco” che ci permetterà di utilizzare più account nello stesso momento.

Innanzitutto installate Skype versione 4.0. o superiori, poiché il trucco non funziona con le versioni precedenti.

Create un collegamento sul Desktop a Skype.exe e rinominatelo, per esempio, come “Skype account privato“, poi createne un altro e che chiamerete “Skype account business “.

Cliccate col tasto destro del mouse sul collegamento “account business” e andate in proprietà  collegamento. Scrivete nel campo destinazione questa stringa:

C:\Programmi\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe “/secondary”

Cliccate su applica e cominciate ad usare il vostro account secondario. Ma fate attenzione a creare le icone di collegamento Skype.exe sempre dalla cartella cartella in cui avete installato il programma. Se vi limitate a copiare l’icona che Skype ha installato sul Desktop, questa non sarà editabile, e non potrete modificare il campo destinazione.
