Un americano su tre usa Facebook al bagno

Qual è il posto più comodo per chattare con gli amici? Molte persone pensano che si tratti proprio del bagno, forse l’ultimo posto rimasto dove la privacy regna sovrana. O almeno così era prima dell’arrivo di Facebook. Se anche voi fate parte di quella grande maggioranza di chatter da toilette non sentitevi troppo in colpa. Non siete soli, anzi una ricerca dell’agenzia AIS Media ha rivelato che chattare e aggiornare il proprio stato Facebook mentre si sta seduti sul “trono” è lo sport preferito di un americano su tre.

La colpa è dei nuovi cellulari e smartphone che consentono di rimanere connessi anche quando si sta lontani dal computer. Insomma basta un iPhone o anche un iPad per portare Facebook sempre con sé, anche dove meno te l’aspetti. D’altronde Facebook Mobile conta circa 150 milioni di utenti attivi, perciò il risultato di questa ricerca non deve stupirci troppo.

Su 500 americani interpellati, è venuto fuori che a usare Facebook in bagno sono soprattutto le donne (il 55%), e che la maggior parte di loro lo fa di nascosto mentre è al lavoro. Molte persone non riescono a stare lontani dalla bacheca di Facebook nemmeno per poche ore, così il bagno è diventato uno degli ultimi posti dove è possibile agire ancora con discrezione e collegarsi al social network preferito. Il sospetto però è che un tale comportamento sia la spia di una dipendenza da Facebook che non va sottovalutata.
