Twitter, lo sviluppo del client per Mac è stato abbandonato?

Sembra (ma non è ancora ufficiale) che Twitter abbia cessato lo sviluppo dell’applicazione omonima per Mac, una scelta che appare francamente poco comprensibile. Pare che i vertici del sito di microblogging abbiano deciso di abbandonare il supporto al client per Mac visto che Mountain Lion integra la possibilità di condividere contenuti su Twitter senza bisogno di usare programmi esterni.

Al momento non è chiaro se l’applicazione verrà definitivamente abbandonata o se almeno il supporto continuerà ad essere attivo, l’ultimo update risale al primo giugno 2011 e questo fa pensare ad uno stato di abbandono, visto che negli ultimi mesi sono usciti nuovi Macbook Pro con schermo Retina e l’applicazione appare decisamente sgranata su questi modelli.

Twitter non ha rilasciato una comunicazione ufficiale a riguardo, molti sviluppatori però avrebbero riportato la notizia dell’abbanfono definitivo del client per Mac. Aspettiamo notizie certe, prima di decretare la morte di Twitter per Mac.

    this matter to be actually something that I feel I’d never understand.

  5. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I
    found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to
    her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
    She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!

  7. I do not know whether it’s just me or if perhaps everybody else encountering problems
    with your blog. It looks like some of the text within your content are
    running off the screen. Can somebody else please
    provide feedback and let me know if this is happening to them too?
    This might be a issue with my web browser because I’ve had this happen before.
