Twitter aggiorna la sua app ufficiale per Android e iOS

Nel corso delle ultime ore Twitter, previo annuncio, ha provveduto ad aggiornare la sua app ufficiale per device mobile basati su Android (versione 3.1.0) e iOS (versione 4.1) introducendo tutta una serie di interessanti novità grazie alle quali d’ora in avanti sarà possibile servirsi nel miglior modo possibile, direttamente in mobilità, del celebre servizio di microblogging.

Si tratta, nello specifico, di un aggiornamento non major ma che comunque migliora enormemente il software per device mobile e grazie al quale d’ora in avanti gli utenti che si servono di Twitter in mobilità potranno avvalersi nuovamente del gesto scivolata come scorciatoia, reintegrato conseguenzialmente alle reiterate da parte degli utenti, unitamente alla neo opportunità di poter copiare ed incollare del testo direttamente all’interno del box dedicato alla scrittura dei tweet e dei profili.

Oltre a quanto appena accennato le altre modifiche apportate all’app consentono ora di poter modificare la grandezza del font, riguardano l’introduzione del press-and-hold per quanto concerne i dettagli dei link, la possibilità di di ottenere avvisi sul proprio profilo ogni qual volta si aggiungono nuovi follower e vari altri miglioramenti per quanto concerne i messaggi diretti e la correzione di diversi e fastidiosi bug.

Tuttavia, così come segnalato dagli utenti, l’aggiornamento dell’app ufficiale di Twitter per Android potrebbe comportare alcuni crash, in particolare quando si prova ad entrare nei messaggi diretti ma, di certo, nei prossimi giorni il team del servizio di microblogging numero uno al mondo provvederà a risolvere la fastidiosa problematica.

In ogni caso appare necessario sottolineare che la sempre maggiore frequenza di aggioranmento dell’app per Android e iOS indica, in maniera inequivocabile, la volontà da parte di Twitter di voler puntare sempre di più, così come dichiarato recentemente senza mezzi termini, buona parte del successo del servizio sul settore mobile, sopratutto tenendo conto del forte incremento del numero di utenti ottenuto conseguenzialmente all’integrazione in iOS5.
