Programmi TV FacebookPossono social network come Facebook e TV essere in qualche modo collegati tra loro? Sì, e più di quanto si possa immaginare. Da una ricerca svolta da NM Incite e Nelsien, emerge come molte persone sfruttino proprio i social media per parlare di programmi televisivi, raccogliere opinioni e realizzare sondaggi statistici.

I social media sono popolati da un 55% di utenti maschili ed un 45% di utenti femminili. Tuttavia, se volessimo individuare gli utenti che discutono di televisione, la statistica, come è lecito pensare, si capovolge: 55% gli utenti femminili, 45% quelli maschili. 

Scendendo ancor più nel dettaglio, si scopre che i 18enni rappresentano il 34% della popolazione media dei social network, ma solo il 12% se si prendono in esame gli utenti che discutono di televisione. La fascia demografica nella quale si parla maggiormente dei programmi televisivi è compresa fra i 24 e i 34 anni, per un 17% dell’intero popolo sociale del quale il 29% discute appunto di televisione.

Ma di cosa parlano esattamente i consumatori che sfruttano i media sociali per discutere degli ultimi programmi televisivi? Sempre dal rapporto, si apprende che l’argomento numero uno sono i reality show, dei quali si discute per il 14% del vincitore, del 6% dei voti e della stessa percentuale dei giudizi.

I generi sono invece suddivisi rispettivamente in 10% per film o serial divertenti, 8% per quelli romantici e 9% per i drammatici. Per ultimi, l’11% parla di intrattenimento, il 9% fan, l’11% attrazione fisica e il 6% di scrittori/autori, sempre rimanendo naturalmente nell’ambito delle trasmissioni televisive.

Perché è importante stabilire questi risultati? Per il semplice fatto che questo grande collegamento tra due mondi all’apparenza opposti come quelli di social media e TV, può essere decisivo in futuro in termini di marketing e far maturare magari innovative forme di strategie volte a pubblicizzare un nuovo programma televisivo sfruttando proprio i social network. Dopotutto, è un successo che non può essere ignorato così alla leggera.
