Mafia Wars da Facebook al cinema

Non basta il film di prossima uscita sul social network più famoso al mondo, Facebook, ma ora lo stesso sito web diventa anche ideatore di nuove produzioni cinematografiche come sta per accadere con il gioco di ruolo Mafia Wars. Forse il problema è ad Hollywood, dove mancano le idee e di conseguenza si viene ad “intingere” nel bicchiere del web qualche nuova proposta per poter incassare qualcosa in più. Ma vediamo nello specifico di cosa stiamo parlando.
Mafia Wars, è un’applicazione ludica di Facebook, dove per giocare, occorre creare la propria banda mafiosa. Come fare questo? Ovviamente reclutando altri utenti attraverso Facebook ed invitandoli a diventare parte integrante della vostra banda. una volta che avete la squadra pronta, dovete diventare i “gestori” della attività criminale più redditizia per guadagnare del denaro (virtuale ovviamente) e di conseguenza diventare vincitori.

Anche questo gioco, come il più usato FarmVille è prodotto dalla Zynga, e la diffusione sul web ha raggiunto i ben 25 milioni di utenti. Il film, di cui Hollywood sembrerebbe aver acquistato i diritti di immagine, non si sa ancora su quale punto preciso verta. Fatto sta che a lavorarci si sa bene che sarà la Radar Pictures, che ha deciso comunque di puntare su questo film non badando a spese ed investimenti, per farlo uscire il proma possibile e farlo diventare come una sorta di thriller già noto al pubblico, basato sui tre grandi classici del cinema Mafia movie che sono Il Padrino, Scarface e C’era una volta in America.
Facebook, continua quindi nel suo intento di diventare punto di riferimento per diversi settori, se prima il suo punto di riferimento era solo di ottenere utenti e “sfruttarli” ad uso pubblicitario, ecco che Mark Zuckerberg, può carpire da questa esperienza nuove opportunità di business…dopo Fiesbum e The Social Network, arriva anche Mafia Wars by Facebook….che diventeranno a breve una major cinematografica? Staremo a vedere…
