Che Facebook possa creare una certa dipendenza è oramai cosa ben risaputa ma che un padre disperato per sua figlia e per l’eccessivo uso, o per meglio dire “abuso”, che quest’ultima fa del social network arrivi a pagarla stipulando con lei un vero e proprio contratto è sicuramente una novità.

Ebbene si, tra le tante stranezze che accadono nel mondo del social networking anche questa fa parte di quelle.

Succede a Boston, USA, dove un uomo di nome Paul Baier ha promesso alla figlia di 14 anni, grazie ad un contratto firmato e postato sul suo blog sotto il titolo Facebook Deactivation Agreement, 200 dollari se per 5 mesi “si disintossicherà” da Facebook.

La notizia, riportata in primis da alcuni media statunitensi, ha subito fatto il giro dell’intero globo terrestre nonostante gli utenti che di tanto in tanto decidono di prendersi una pausa da Facebook siano in molti.

La ragazza, a quanto pare, ha accettato la proposta del padre ma ilarità della vicenda a parte quel che è certo è che l’eccessivo tempo trascorso sul social network di Zuckerberg costituisce una vera e propria preoccupazione per un sempre maggior numero di genitori e Paul Baier non è sicuramente il primo né tantomeno l’ultimo dei padri che ha cercato di porre rimedio alla cosa in maniera, per così dire, tragicomica.

Risale infatti proprio a qualche giorno fa la notizia della nascita di FAddict, un sito web di Toronto che pone come obiettivo quello di cercare di dare una mano alle persone totalmente dipendenti da Facebook ad allontanarsi dal celebre social network in blu.

Il sito web propone di inviare 5 dollari con la promessa di non entrare sul social network per un mese.

I 5 dollari saranno restituiti agli utenti nel caso in cui la promessa venga effettivamente mantenuta altrimenti saranno destinati in beneficenza ad un centro di recupero dalle dipendenze.
