Facebook, arrivano le emoticons per rappresentare lo status

Facebook, d’ora in avanti, non si accontenterà più solo di chiedere agli utenti, nella casella dedicata all’aggiornamento dello status, come vanno le cose, che cosa succede di bello e di interessante e come ci si sente ma invoglierà i propri iscritti ad inserire anche apposite emoticons in grado di rappresentare visivamente, appunto, il proprio stato.

Da alcune ore a questa parte il team del celebre social network in blu ha infatti introdotto una nuova funzionalità su Facebook che, appunto, permette agli utenti di comunicare agli amici il proprio stato d’animo o l’esecuzione di specifiche azioni (ad esempio mangiare, bere, vedere un film, ascoltare della musica etc.) utilizzando tutta una serie di apposite emoticons da affiancare allo status scritto.

La funzionalità in questione ha ben poco a che vedere con il Graph Search, il sistema di ricerca integrato in Facebook che è stato presentato giorni fa e che ben presto verrà reso disponibile per tutti gli sicritti al social network.

Per il momento la nuova feature non è disponibile per tutti gli utenti ed è ancora in fase di test ragion per cui soltanto in pochi, come ad esempio i ragazzi di TechCrunch che hanno segnalato la news e che hanno fornito anche uno screenshot visualizabile ad inizio post, sono stati scelti per sperimentare la novità.

Qualora gli utenti Facebook non dimostrassero particoalre interesse per la nuova funzionalità che consente di condividere in maniera più rappresentativa le proprie azioni non è da escludere l’ipotesi che Mark Zuckerberg e soci decidano di metterla completamente da parte così come già accaduto in passato con altre features.

Frattanto, comunque, un portavoce di Facebook ha commentato la nuova funzionalità dichiarando che “Si tratta semplicemente di una nuova occasione per le persone di rappresentare visivamente, attraverso post Facebook, quello che stanno facendo e come si stanno sentendo”.
