Sono rimasti sepolti nell’archivio fotografico di Flickr per quasi dieci anni, prima che Jack Dorsey, l’inventore di Twitter, li riportasse alla luce. Questa idea si è insinuata nella mia mente, nei miei progetti e nel mio lavoro per ben sei anni. Ma il sesto anno è diventata realtà, anche se ha preso una nuova forma.

Insomma, che ci crediate o no, Twitter (che in principio avrebbe dovuto chiamarsi Stat.us o più semplicemente Twttr), è nato dalla necessità di Jack Dorsey di tenersi in contatto, in tempo reale, con i ragazzi delle consegne.

Oggi, solo in America, sono ben 147 milioni gli utenti che usano questo servizio per dire a tutti dove sono e cosa stanno facendo.
