Twitter, 1 miliardo di dollari nel 2014

Nella giornata di ieri, ci siamo già soffermati sulla crescita significativa di utenti da parte di Twitter, soprattutto tra gli adulti, ma resta sorprendente il dato che emerge da una recente ricerca da parte di Bloomberg, che immagina un futuro a dir poco roseo per il social network numero due al mondo.

A quanto pare, infatti, Twitter potrebbe registrare un fatturato pari addirittura ad un miliardo di dollari entro il 2014, per quanto concerne le sole entrate pubblicitarie, con il dato che assume ulteriore valore, se si pensa che eMarketer, pochi mesi fa, aveva previsto per il suddetto anno “appena” 540 milioni di dollari, a testimonianza di quanto siano stati positivi gli ultimi tempi per la popolare piattaforma.

Secondo la fonte di questo studio, poi, il potere degli Stati Uniti dovrebbe abbassarsi già a partire dal 2012: dal 90% degli introiti dell’anno scorso, infatti, tra qualche mese dovremmo registrare già l’82%.
