Software di terze parti, integrazioni, client, API e piattoforme di linking. Sempre più il mondo dei social network si evolve ed entra in nuovi percorsi di luce che risplendono anche grazie al successo riflesso di applicazioni fatte bene che lavorano altrettanto bene in simbiosi con le reti sociali. Oggi parliamo di Twitter. Il social network che sembra aver conquistato il mondo, è ormai divenuto molto popolare anche per i suoi sviluppi che lo stanno trasformando in una realtà completa.

Tra gli aggiornamenti che sicuramente sono degni di nota troviamo la funzione delle Lists, oppure tutte le nuove API per effettuare il Geo Tagging, o ancora i ReTweets.

Oggi andiamo a vedere una applicazione di terza parte che gira su desktop realizzata con Adobe Air e che si chiama Tweet Deck. Questa, riesce ad introdurre in un client software desktop tutte le funzioni suddette di cui si è aggiornato Twitter. Il vecchio Tweet Deck, permetteva il semplice utilizzo delle funzionalità base di Twitter, ad oggi, sembra avere a che fare completamente con la piattaforma Web.

Ma le novità non finiscono qui; Tweet Deck si sta muovendo pian piano verso nuovi protocolli di comunicazione per poter avviare una gestione anche dei social network come LinkedIn, Facebook e MySpace.

Già si vocifera che lo step successivo che vedrà la luce prima della fine del 2009, è la versione di Tweet Deck aggiornata per iPhone. Questo aggiornamento sarà così rapido, anche grazie alle leggi di una sana competizione che vive con l’altro software client molto diffuso: Tweetie 2. La sfida tra le due compagnie è quella che vede il client Twitter d’eccellenza in uno dei due prodotti.

Fatto sta che sono rimaste ancora senza sbilanciarsi le team cooperation dei social network in se. Facebook e Twitter, infatti, dal canto proprio non hanno ancora fatto partire gli sviluppi ai propri team di queste applicazioni desktop. Probabilmente il loro ingresso in questo mercato con client ufficiali, vedrebbe la fine di tutte le compagnie terze.
