In ambito di social network ci siamo abituati a sentir parlare di tutte le stranezze possibili. Ormai, le reti sociali entrate a far parte completamente della nostra vita, ci dimostrano quotidianamente quanto è particolare l’essere umano.

I realizzatori del sito, hanno dichiarato che questa tipologia di reti, servono per aiutare chi le utilizza a superare le paure e le ansie che possono dare queste situazioni. “Sentire ancora dentro di sé la persona scomparsa” è lo slogan del network. L’utilizzo del social network è comune ai tanti altri esistenti on line. In primis, si possono creare relazioni nel proprio spazio virtuale, intese come amicizie. Poi si possono caricare foto e video ed inoltre ognuno può sentirsi libero di creare un gruppo (sempre dedicato alla morte) e condividere con tutti le proprie “esigenze” di ricordo.

Le giornaliste Isa Grassano e Lucrezia Argentiero, sono le ideatrici del progetto ed hanno dichiarato al lancio del portale che: “L’invito è quello di creare un diario di emozioni, con pensieri (scrivi un messaggio), musiche, immagini e video (da caricare in “i click dei ricordi” e “i ciak più belli”), di esternare il proprio stato d’animo sul distacco di cui siamo stati protagonisti o comunque testimoni, o semplici spettatori. E’ sicuramente un social network di impatto emotivo forte. L’argomento non è dei più ameni, ma riteniamo che la condivisione del proprio dolore aiuta a superare le paure, le ansie. Da soli non siamo nessuno, ma insieme agli altri possiamo trovare l’energia per andare avanti. Stayinme parla di morte ma vuole essere comunque un inno alla vita che non muore mai. Allo stesso tempo ci costringe a fare i conti con noi stessi, ricordandoci con prepotenza che su questa terra, che ci piaccia o no, siamo solo di passaggio e per questo non dobbiamo sprecare nemmeno un attimo”.
