La pagina Facebook Jesus Daily supera gli 8 milioni di fan

Sicuramente il Nazareno non lo avrebbe mai immaginato ma a distanza di millenni qualcuno ha ben pensato di creare un’apposita pagina su Facebook distinguendola da tutte le altre con il nome di Jesus Daily.

Si, è vero, sacro e profano non andrebbero mai confusi ma la trovata di Aaron Tabor, dietologo di 41 anni cresciuto seguendo le prediche delle grandi chiese comprese tra l’Alabama e il North Carolina, non sembrerebbe aver nulla a che vedere con il cattivo gusto puntando invece alla diffusione quotidiana della parola di Gesù.

La questione appare quindi abbastanza chiara: se i social network, in primis Facebook, vanno a configurarsi, ad oggi, come i migliori strumenti mediante cui condividere e diffondere informazioni perché non fare altrettanto con le parole di Gesù?

Tabor aggiorna infatti Jesus Daily, la pagina Facebook in questione da lui creata nell’oramai lontano 2009, con una frequenza pari a circa quattro o cinque volte al giorno cercando, così come ha spiegato anche al New York Times, di dare coraggio alla gente o, quanto meno, a coloro che seguono la pagina Facebook in questione.

Tutto ciò, stando ai dati più recenti, sembra però piacere in maniera particolore al popolo del social network in blu.

Il numero dei Mi piace totalizzati da Jesus Daily risulta infatti superiore a ben oltre 8 milioni ed un notevole incremento è stato registrato prorio nelle ultime settimane andando a sorpassare addirittura la pagina ufficiale The Bible aperta dalla United Bible Society in Reading,

Tuttavia Jesus Daily non è soltanto un mezzo mediante cui diffondere la parola del Nazareno ma, con il passare del tempo, la pagina è andata ad assumere anche il ruolo di una vera e propria comunity, ovviamente virtuale, mediante cui condividere problemi, preoccupazioni o, ancora, semplici pensieri con altri utenti cercando quindi di fornire e ricevere sostegno giorno dopo giorno.
