Modernity 2.0 parla di social network

E’ cominciata lunedi 29 Giugno 2009 in mattinata alle ore 10.30 e sarà attiva fino a domenica 5 Luglio 2009 presso l’Università di Urbino, la rassegna Modernity 2.0. Quest’appuntamento già noto nell’ambito accademico internazionale inglese ed americano, oltre che in Sud Africa, Spagna e Messico arriva per la prima volta in Italia nella città ducale di Pesaro ed Urbino. Si tratta di una session della durata di cinque giorni, in cui si parlerà e si affronteranno diversi temi a partire dai social network, passando per internet e l’influenza che questi nuovi media hanno sulla società moderna e sui giovani. Nello specifico si affronterà un tema preciso che sarà il “cavallo portante” della rassegna: i Social Media (intesi come social network, blog, forum, video sharing e tutto ciò che riguarda l’interazione con il pubblico) e la relazione costante che essi hanno con la società, portando trasformazioni che stanno man mano modificando la nostra quotidianità, intesa come stile di vita. Si parlerà anche di teorie generali di sistemi, di cibernetica e di molti strumenti avanzati per l’analisi con la presenza dei massimi studiosi ed esperti del mondo.
Il tutto è partito nella Facoltà di Sociologia dell’Università degli Studi di Urbino “Carlo Bo”, insieme al Direttore del Dipartimento di Studi Comunicazione, Lella Mazzoli, che è stata introdotta dal Rettore Giovanni Bogliolo e dal Preside della Facoltà di Sociologia, Dott. Bernardo Valli. La figura di spicco maggiore che ha raccolto l’interesse di molti partecipanti è stato l’esperto internazionale Bernard Scott, attualmente Presidente della ISA – RC51 su Sociocybernetics.
Altre personalità interessanti interverranno alla manifestazione, primo tra tutti Giuseppe O. Longo, docente ordinario di Teoria dell’informazione alla Facoltà d’Ingegneria dell’Università di Trieste, considerato main expert dei social network. L’abstract per la conferenza riporta: “L’uomo e la tecnologia sono inseparabili. “L’uomo produce tecnologia, ma quest’ultima contribuisce alla continua trasformazione degli uomini. Ciò crea due importanti conseguenze: la formazione di Homo technologicus, soggetto ad una continua trasformazione, e la formazione di una sorta di creatura planetaria. In realtà, la comunicazione mediata dalla tecnologia offre opportunità senza precedenti”.

  40. I was curious if you ever thought of changing the structure of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?
