Quando la rete dei lettori si unisce per realizzare un movimento su Internet, negli ultimi anni sicuramente sta preferendo i social network rispetto ai cari e vecchi blog e forum. Il sito Copia, nasce a metà tra un book Store ed un social network perchè permette a tutti gli utenti di scambiare informazioni e di curare il proprio profilo, ma allo stesso modo permette di condividere, acquistare e consigliare testi da leggere. Molto importante tra i contenuti sono sicuramente le recensioni.

Siti del genere sono Anobii e Book Shelf, che sono basati principalmente sulla creazione della propria libreria on line, dove poter promuovere i propri testi preferiti. Per qualcuno nulla di nuovo, per altri, una nuova possibilità in mobile dato che il social ha già delle apps che funzionano sull’iPad di Apple e sui device Windows Phone 7.

In Italia ancora non c’è traccia di evoluzione di eBook on line, ma staremo a vedere l’evoluzione pian piano.
