Il “Puma” inseguito nel lancio del social network

Su IoChatto ve ne avevamo già parlato, ma qualche novità bolle in pentola su Puma Social, il noto marchio di abbigliamento sportivo che ha deciso che tra la sponsorizzazione di un calciatore ed il lancio di un nuovo prodotto leggero era il caso di lanciare anche un social network. Più che un social vero e proprio però, potremmo dire che il progetto è di un aggregatore sociale di contenuti che ha preso il nome di Puma Social.

Nella piattaforma “dell’azienda felina”, troviamo l’accesso ad una serie di funzioni che ben conosciamo e che usiamo quotidianamente su Facebook oppure su Twitter e cioè: pubblicare status, condividere le foto, i link, o ancora i videclip. Funzione carina offerta dal social network di Puma è quella di poter aggiornare il proprio profilo non tramite solo testo, ma anche attraverso il video blog. Ovviamente Puma Social non è ancora una realtà funzionante a pieno regime, perchè in fase di test e sperimentazione su alcuni punti che sono da convertire a nuove tecnologie.
Fatto sta che il comunicato stampa lanciato dalla casa, ha parlato di “un lancio a breve e serio del proprio Puma Social”, che verrà affiancato da una grande campagna pubblicitaria per diffondere la sua idea.
Il testimonial d’eccezione è Morgan (alias Marco Castoldi), cantautore ed ex giudice di X-Factor che presterà la voce agli spot che vedremo in TV nei prossimii giorni e che ha commentato la notizia dicendosi fiero di questa scelta fatta dalla casa.

I rumors parlano di una novità che ci si aspetta dalle aziende competitor, prima in assoluto nell’elenco di chi sta sviluppando una nuova rete è la Nike, subito seguita dalla Adidas. Quello che farà la differenza però, sarà proprio la scelta del testimonial molto probabilmente, visto che la Puma ha spiazzato tutti con la scelta di Morgan, mentre gli altri produttori baseranno la scelta sullo standard degli sportivi, come in tutti gli spot.
