Guida Twitter: come trovare le persone più interessanti da seguire

Una volta creato il nostro blog su Twitter notiamo subito due scritte sulla destra, la prima è following mentre la seconda è followers. Following indica i contatti di cui stiamo seguendo le conversazioni mantre Followers ci mostra l’elenco degli utenti che stanno ascoltando le nostre “chiacchiere”.

Per aggiungere un contatto basta andare sul suo blog e cliccare sul tasto Follow. Da quel momento noi diventiamo suoi “followers” e automaticamente aggiungiamo un contatto ai nostri following. Ma è facile perdersi tra i tantissimi utenti di Twitter sparsi in tutto il mondo, perciò come facciamo a trovare le persone più interessanti da seguire?

Un aiuto ci viene da Who should I follow, una pratica applicazione Twitter che ci aiuta a scovare in rete i contatti che hanno più cose in comune con noi. E’ sufficiente digitare il nostro username nella barra di ricerca e cliccare su Find Friends. I nostri twitts verranno “analizzati” dal programma, e in base alle nostre conversazioni ci verrà restituita una lista di suggerimenti sui contatti affini a noi.

Se un utente ci sembra particolarmente interessante, è possibile affinare ulteriormente la ricerca cliccando su “see more users like“. In tal caso avremo ancora un’altra lista di nomi che hanno molto in comune con quell’utente.

E’ anche possibile trovare utenti in base alla popolarità o alla località geografica, inserendo il paese o la città nel campo “enter location“.

I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. I have had a tough time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted just trying to figure out how to begin.
