Facebook: facciamo pulizia nello stream

Le modifiche allo stream di Facebook non sono mai esenti da critiche. La nuova funzione “mostra tempo reale” ha avuto l’effetto di mostrare in homepage tutto, ma proprio tutto quello che facciamo all’interno del social network: le foto che tagghiamo, gli eventi a cui partecipiamo, le nuove amicizie e i gruppi a cui ogni giorno prendiamo parte, e le pagine di cui siamo fan.

Le conseguenze più gravi sono due: noi non abbiamo più un briciolo di privacy, e ancora peggio, non ce l’hanno più nemmeno i nostri amici che trovano sul loro stream tutte le nostre attività e viceversa. Cosa fare allora per ripulire lo stream e le notizie in bacheca?

Se siete stanchi di far leggere, ma soprattutto di leggere nella home le attività altrui fate così: andate su

Impostazioni > Impostazioni Privacy> Notizie e Bacheca

e deselezionate le voci associate alle vostre attività che non ritenete fondamentali. Poi cliccate su

Impostazioni > Impostazioni Applicazioni > Usate recentemente > Gruppi > Modifica Impostazioni > Autorizzazioni Aggiuntive

e nei campi Gruppi ed Eventi deselezionate i permessi per pubblicare sullo stream a queste due applicazioni. Dopodiché chiedete ai vostri contatti di fare lo stesso.

Il flusso degli aggiornamenti non sarà più così caotico.

  31. When I initially left a comment I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments
    are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I get 4 emails with the same comment.
    Is there an easy method you can remove me from that service?
