Top 25 FacebookInside Social Games ha pubblicato la classifica dei giochi più popolari su Facebook, aggiornata al 28 febbraio, sette delle prime dieci posizioni sono occupate da titoli Zynga, con gli altri produttori a spartirsi le briciole.

CityVille è in assoluto il gioco più usato sul social network di Mark Zuckerberg, con quasi 100 milioni di giocatori attivi ogni mese (94 milioni, per essere precisi), al secondo posto troviamo invece FarmVille, con poco più di 50 milioni di utenti, l’eco per il simulatore di fattoria si è sgonfiato molto in questo ultimo periodo.

Terzo posto per Texas HoldEm Poker, il primo gioco lanciato da Zynga nel 2007, che nonostante i quasi quattro anni sulle spalle resiste alla grande, con 37 milioni di utenti al mese. FrontierVille e Cafè World occupano la quarta e quinta posizione, rispettivamente con 19 e 15 milioni di giocatori attivi, sempre su base mensile.

Mafia Wars perde terreno ed occupa solamente il sesto posto della classifica, con poco più di 12 milioni di giocatori. Al settimo posto troviamo Millionaire City di Digital Chocolate, mentre alla posizione numero otto ritroviamo subito un titolo Zynga, Treasure Isle. Pet Society di PlayFish occupa la posizione numero nove, mentre la top ten si chiude con Bejeweled Blitz di PopCap.

A ridosso della top ten troviamo Ravenwood Fair, il titolo di John Romero (papà di DOOM e Quake) ha riscosso davvero un buon successo in questi mesi, mentre gli ultimi posti sono occupati da titolo come Zoo World, Monster World e Bubble Island.

Zynga è l’azienda leader per quanto riguarda i giochi social, almeno per quanto riguarda Facebook, su MySpace infatti domina Mobster di Playdom. Nel 2011 vedremo tanti altri giochi realizzati dalla società di Mark Pincus, CityVile ha chiuso il 2010 in bellezza, Zynga è attualmente al lavoro su decine di titoli per Facebook, che siamo certi riscontreranno un successo notevole tra i giocatori.
