Come eliminare la barra di ricerca Facemoods dal nostro browser

Facebook è sempre più amato, ed è logico che molti utenti desiderino aggiungere funzionalità aggiuntive al social network preferito, come skin o faccine animate per la chat. Proprio per questo è nata l’estensione FaceMoods, per aggiungere emoticons, smileys e animoticon gratis alla bacheca e alla chat di Facebook.

Unica pecca, FaceMoods aggiunge una fastidiosa barra di ricerca a Chrome, Firefox e Internet Explorer. Vediamo come possiamo liberarcene. Innanzitutto bisogna disinstallare il programma, perciò andate in Pannello di controllo -> Programmi e cancellate le voci relative alla FaceMoods Toolbar. Poi facciamo ordine anche nel browser.

In Firefox: andate su Strumenti -> Componenti aggiuntivi -> Estensioni e cliccate su Disinstalla le voci che Firefox ha evidenziato come potenzialmente dannose (sì, FaceMoods non piace a Mozilla) e poi mettete come pagina iniziale quella che preferite.

In Internet Explorer: andate su Strumenti -> Gestione componenti aggiuntivi -> Barre degli strumenti. A questo punto disattivate la toolbar.

In Chrome: andate su chrome://settings/browser/ e impostate di nuovo Google sia come pagina iniziale, sia come ricerca predefinita. Controllate anche in chrome://extensions/ e rimuovete eventuali estensioni indesiderate.

Il problema così dovrebbe essere risolto.
