Ancora una volta torna a farsi viva l’ipotesi che Facebook stia sviluppando un telefonino di nuova generazione, insomma quello smartphone targato FB che fa gola a molti, e che certamente getterebbe scompiglio nel già caotico panorama della telefonia mobile. Stando alle ultime voci, HTC sta già sviluppando una versione personalizzata del suo smartphone in collaborazione con il social network, da lanciare sul mercato a partire dal terzo trimestre del 2012.

A sentire il sito web Digitimes, la partnership tra HTC e Facebook nascerebbe dalla volontà di contrastare il colosso Google, che ha preferito collaborare con Samsung per la prossima generazione di smartphone Nexus, piuttosto che con HTC. Una specie di vendetta per HTC, che ora avrebbe deciso di rivolgere le sue attenzioni a Facebook.

Sempre Digitimes riferisce che il nuovo smartphone Android di HTC sarà una versione potenziata dei facebookfonini Salsa e Cha-Cha, perché interamente caratterizzato da una piattaforma dedicata a Facebook, che permetterà agli utenti di accedere facilmente a tutte le funzioni del social network.
