Salute 2.0 è l’aiuto che è nato negli Stati Uniti nei confronti dei cittadini per mostrare in maniera attiva i problemi della salute. Grazie a questa applicazione on-line, si cerca di aumentare l’interazione tra gli utenti grazie alla rete. Il problema è nella confusione di informazioni che si disperdono on-line e la mancata conoscenza di filtri adeguati della popolazione per selezionare il bene dal male.
Quindi il primo campanello d’allarme su siti e social network di medicina potrebbe essere di stare attenti alle informazioni sbagliate. Gli utenti possono scambiare tra loro informazioni e suggerimenti sulla salute vigilati dai medici che integrano informazioni oppure vigilano su quelle errate. Secondo la ricerca effettuata dalla Medical Broadcasting Company, Internet, è stato identificato come il canale informativo più credibile sulla salute. L’allarme qui sorge in quanto questi farmaci sono spesso contraffazioni dei medicinali originali ed oltre a non contenere l’uguale principio attivo dei farmaci reali, possono risultare dannosi per alcuni pazienti.
Tornando a salute 2.0, sull’argomento farmaci, troviamo che il network mette a disposizione i database dei dati clinici on-line e dei farmaci con le proprie composizioni, questo in concomitanza con Google Health che permette ad ogni utente di caricare on-line la propria cartella clinica e di consultarla in ogni momento. Salute 2.0 risulta anche un valido strumento per chi lavora nell’ambito sanitario perchè grazie all’interazione con gli utenti permette la sorveglianza medica fatta da medici volontari che possono dare diagnosi e consigli a chi soffre di distrurbi. Esempio tipico italiano di questo servizio è Influweb.it.
Internet sicuramente si sta mostrando come un valido strumento di aiuto alla medicina ma sicuramente (almeno per il momento) non riuscirà a sollevare dall’incarico un medico di base.
