Social network: attenzione al pericolo pedofilia

In questi giorni si sta parlando molto del problema pedofilia che si sta propagando in molti social network esistenti, anche quelli più conosciuti. I dati statistici segnalano che i paesi più colpiti sono gli Stati Uniti e la Russia con rispettivi 29% per il primo e 27% per il secondo, a seguire l’Olanda 6%, l’Inghilterra 4%, la Cina 4%, Germania e Polonia con 3% e infine l’Italia che, con molti altri paesi che hanno lo stesso risultato, si trova tra gli ultimi con un 2%. Dati allarmanti che fanno riflettere parecchio. Come si evolverà la situazione?

Le autorità hanno sin da subito iniziato a prendere provvedimenti. Da una parte c’è la preoccupazione riguardo alle molteplici possibili vittime dei pedofili e dall’altra la constatazione che, grazie proprio ai social network, molte di queste persone saranno scovate ed arrestate.

Fatto stà che sono tantissimi i ragazzi, e anche bambini, che dispongo di un account, facebook, netlog o quale altro, e molti sono a rischio. Ormai non esiste un bambino che non sappia utilizzare un computer ed internet. Tutti quanti sono all’avanguardia. Nasce quindi il bisogno di nuovi sistemi di monitorazione e filtraggio delle informazioni naviganti sui social network. Si spera in un riscontro positivo e una sensibilizzazione da parte di tutti gli amministratori delle più importanti community, affinchè agiscano anche loro in favore della legge e della giustizia.

I pedofili si appoggiano principalmente su server stranieri e non nazionali per paura di essere scoperti e localizzati. I server preferiti sono per l’appunto quelli americani e russi. In Italia, il Compartimento della polizia postale di Catania ha aperto 340 fascicoli, per un totale di 2.850 siti pedopornografici segnalati nel 2008. I materiali più diffusi riguardavano soprattutto foto e video dei poveri bambini vittime, la cui età è quasi sempre al di sotto dei 12 anni.

Il consiglio per i genitori è molto semplice: monitorate e controllate sempre cosa fanno i vostri bambini su internet!
