Ormai l’iPhone è considerato il mobile device per eccellenza, e quale dispositivo se non proprio il Melafonino necessita di un social network dedicato? Quello di cui parliamo oggi, però, non è proprio una rete sociale dedicata esclusivamente al mondo dell’iPhone e soprattutto non è dedicata al mondo hardware degli smartphone.

Stiamo parlando di App Boy, un nuovo social network che permette agli utenti che sono in continua ricerca di Applicazioni dedicate per il proprio iPhone di continuo. C’è da dire subito che di recente sono state integrate le ricerche sia per le applicazioni dei BlackBerry che di quelle per il nuovissimo sistema operativo di Google Android. Ebbene App Boy, risulterebbe una ottima nuova fonte di consigli per questi utenti alla continua ricerca.

Nel sito non ci sono recensioni dei software, bensì la struttura è proprio quella di un social network: utenti, amicizie, condivisioni, commenti. Qui, si incontrano diverse tipologie di utenti a partire dagli sviluppatori che propongono le proprie applicazioni e le commentano per migliorarle, oltre ai semplici fruitori che vogliono (ancora) qualcosa in più dal proprio smartphone.

L’utilizzo è molto semplice ed attualmente attivo per molti utenti. L’iscrizione viene fatta sul tasto “Registrati qui”, e quando viene compilato il profilo, oltre ai propri dati ed alla selezione dello smartphone posseduto, si vanno ad inserire tutte le proprie App installate e quelle preferite, in modo tale da rendere visibile agli altri il proprio status e commentarlo insieme.

Inoltre c’è una sezione dedicata alle App Idea. Qui, gli utenti potranno fantasticare nell’inserire i connotati dell’applicazione che vorrebbero per il proprio dispositivo, con tutte le funzionalità. A tal punto c’è anche la possibilità che qualche sviluppatore passi di li e prenda spunto da quella. Ovviamente l’ideatore oltre a guadagnarci il software che cercava, se proporrà un’idea valida, verrà ripagato con ben 250 dollari reali.
