Personalizzare il profilo di Facebook con Firefox

Il proprio profilo e la propria immagine su Facebook, risultano quotidianamente come un biglietto da visita e quindi vanno curati e sistemati nel migliore dei modi. Le necessità di personalizzazione, aumentano quando a dover essere rappresentati sono una azienda oppure un personaggio noto, e quindi a tal punto si lavora per evitare la “copia conforme” del profilo.
Oggi vediamo un add-on di Mozilla Firefox, che può tornarci utile in questo caso e che soprattutto permetterà di avere una personalizzazione allo status del nostro profilo, distinguendolo dagli altri. Parliamo di Pimp My Facebook Skin.


Vediamo come fare per “personalizzarci”. Per prima cosa andiamo a scaricare l’add-on (utilizzando rigorosamente Firefox come browser) all’indirizzo https://addons.mozilla.org/it/firefox/addon/13571. Subito dopo riavviamo il browser per rendere effettive le modifiche. Poi colleghiamoci a Facebook ed andiamo sulla pagina del nostro profilo. Poi digitiamo l’indirizzo http://www.facebook.com/tos.php?api_key=b5c8fac93aacf009203b2a509d3cbf93&next=http://nitsanush.co.cc/fbapp/&v=1.0&canvas&locale=it_IT ed alla richiesta di accesso della applicaizone ai nostri dati possiamo fare click su “Consenti”. Dall’alto del menu che vedremo nella pagina aperta, andiamo a fare click su “Chose Skin”.

Qui ci apparirà una serie di pagine di personalizzazione e di opzioni di personalizzazione per il nostro profilo che possiamo scegliere di applicare o di rimuovere. Cosa molto importante è anche quella dellar imozione perchè a qualcuno potrebbe non piacere l’effetto finale. Per la rimozione dal profilo Facebook facciamo click su Account, poi su Impostazioni Applicazioni e poi su Remove Application accanto al nome Pimp My Facebook Skin. Per rimuovere invece l’add-on da Firefox occorrerà cliccare su Strumenti, poi su Componenti e poi selezionare l’add-on dall’elenco e fare click su Rimuovi.

Con questo applicativo si può tentare la fortuna sul social network più famoso al mondo, tentando di differenziarsi dalla massa. Strano però che nessun colosso ancora dei main profile di Facebook (tipo la Coca Cola che è uno dei più gettonati), non sia ricorso ancora a qualche sviluppatore per farsi personalizzare l’interfaccia.
