La dichiarazione viene fuori dall’Accademia Cinese di Scienze Sociali, un organo superiore sotto il diretto controllo del regime Cinese. Secondo questi ultimi, Facebook ed altri social network (MySpace e YouTube in primis), sarebbero dei servizi che vengono sfruttati prepotentemente dalle intelligence occidentali per raccogliere informazioni di dominio sugli altri popoli. La creazione di questi mezzi di comunicazione nasconde sotto sotto una vera e propria arma sociale.
Sembra un paradosso, ma queste dichiarazioni veramente sono state fatte. Secondo il governo cinese, non esiste alcun tipo di privacy e d’altronde gli studi dell’Accademia Cinese di Scienze Sociali, che vengono pubblicati come rapporto annuale, non si sono mantenuti in parole diffamatorie contro i social media del web made in Occidente.


Questo tipo di dichiarazioni, ha messo in agitazione la polizia postale di Pechino che si è vista immediatamente recapitare richieste di maggiori informazioni a riguardo. Sarà per la censura, sarà perchè non c’è tanta utenza ma la situazione rimane questa. In quel di Pechino, i cittadini si sentono però più protetti da questo pericolo social web. La preoccupazione comunque è aumentata ed il problema è che si rischiano delle rivolte dal punto di vista del regime degli utenti, questo perchè ancora una volta non si sentono liberi di essere “invasi nella loro intima privacy”.
