Mafia Wars è uno dei giochi Facebook più famosi, eppure questa estate la sua popolarità ha risentito della concorrenza di FarmVille, nuovo gioco sempre sviluppato da Zynga. Ad ogni modo, Mafia Wars può sempre contare su uno zoccolo duro di appassionati giocatori, e proprio per loro è stata pensata la nuova espansione dal titolo Mafia Wars: Moscow.

Già dal titolo possiamo capire che stavolta la guerriglia criminale si sposta in Russia. Le regole e i meccanismi del gioco sono più o meno gli stessi, devi scegliere che tipo di Don mafioso vuoi essere e cominciare a costruire il tuo impero.

Appena arrivati in Russia dobbiamo scegliere da che parte stare, se aiutare Vory v Zakone, un gruppo di mafiosi della “vecchia scuola” oppure il gruppo dei Mafiya, agguerriti ex agenti del KGB che hanno imparato che la criminalità organizzata paga molto di più che lavorare per il governo.

Il bottino per le missioni completate sarà ogni volta differente a seconda di quale fazione abbiamo scelto, perciò decidete con attenzione la vostra mossa. Inoltre a differenza degli altri scenari di Mafia Wars, le missioni saranno suddivise in capitoli, e il giocatore non sarà in grado di vedere la prossima serie di missioni fino a quando non avrà completato un capitolo e non avrà sconfitto il boss.

Ovviamente ci sono anche nuove armi, tra cui il fucile AK-47 e un set di pericolosissime matrioske. Non saranno mica esplosive?
