Google+ supera Twitter

In molti, analisti compresi, lo avevano dato per spacciato e nessuno, o quasi, credeva che big G potesse riuscire a spiccare il volo nel mondo dei social network ma quelle che sono le ultime informazioni inerenti Google+ ed il suo numero di utenti dimostrano esattamente il contrario.

Il social network del gran colosso delle ricerche in rete sta crescendo in maniera sempre più rapida e nel mese di gennaio dell’anno corrente è arrivato addirittura a superare Twitter per numero di utenti attivi, così come dimostrato da un report pubblicato nel fine settimana da GlobalWebIndex.

Nel dettaglio, gli utenti attivi registrati su Google+ sono stati 343 milioni (25%), quelli registrati da Twitter 288 milioni (21%) e quelli registrati da Facebook 693 milioni (51%).

L’istituto di ricerca ha poi assegnato un 21% anche a YouTube andando quindi ad incrementare sensibilmente, in tal modo, le quote del social network di big G.

Questo sta a significare che qualora big G decidesse di forzare i suoi iscritti a utilizzare la propria identità per caricare o visualizzare i video il numero di persone attive su Google+ potrebbe aumentare ancora.

A parte Twitter appare poi opportuno sottolineare il fatto che Google+ sta rubando utenza a social network minori tra cui anche quelli cinesi come Tencent Weibo, Kaixin, Sina Weibo e QZone che sono riusciti a perdere fino al 57% di utenza.

La crescita di Google+ è poi imputabile anche alla sempre maggiore diffusione del social network sui device basati su OS Android ed al recente rilascio dell’app per iOS in un’ulteriore varietà di lingue.

Anche se al momento è abbastanza difficile prevedere un cambio al vertice della classifica dei social network nel breve periodo sarebbe comunque errato, alla luce dei fatti, escludere il fatto che Gogole+, ora come ora, possa farcela.

Per Mark Zuckerberg è forse arrivato il momento di iniziare tremare? Vedremo.
