Facebook metterà a disposizione uno strumento che consente di comprendere quanto i contenuti, presenti sul proprio profilo personale, valgano in corrispondenza dgli altri utenti. La novità si chiama Post Quality, ed oltre ad essa, sarà disponibile un’altra funzione che si chiama “Stream CTR / ETR”, essa terrà conto di tutti i clic fatti su una pagina ed il tasso di navigazione per la stessa. In questo modo, tutti gli utenti potranno migliorare la propria pagina, renderla più ricca di contenuti. Per il Post Quality, il parametro che determinerà il punteggio, si baserà sul numero di visitatori per un determinato articoli e il numero di commenti ricevuti. Si parte da un minimo di 1 ad un massimo di 5.

Un’altra caratteristica molto importante, è la possinilità di vedere quante persone sono registrate ai propri feed rss: i nuovi iscritti e quelli che si sono eliminati. Sono proprio questi che determinano l’interazione delle persone alla pagina, chi realmente è interessato a dei contenuti vuole essere costantemente aggiornato sulle ultime novità o comunque sapere quello che hanno scritto gli altri: amici, parenti, conoscenti o lo stesso Obama (tanto per citare un esempio). Non di meno, accederà alla pagina per rilasciare propri commenti, i quali, come detto prima, aumentano il punteggio della qualità della pagina.
