Facebook fa concorrenza a Disqus con il nuovo plugin dei commenti

Facebook ha aggiornato il plugin per i commenti sui siti web esterni al network. Ora i commenti lasciati dagli utenti sui siti sono sottoposti a un filtro di moderazione più potente, e presentano le stesse caratteristiche già disponibili sulla news feed degli iscritti al network. I nuovi commenti Facebook adesso mostrano in cima i commenti più popolari, sostituendo all’ordine cronologico, quello della popolarità. Una opzione simile a quella già presente nel sistema di commenti di YouTube.

Queste caratteristiche però non sono da considerarsi una novità assoluta nel vasto panorama dei plugin commenti. Queste, infatti, erano già presenti in Disqus, un servizio online che offre una piattaforma centralizzata di discussione per i siti web. Ma adesso sembra che Facebook si appresti a fare concorrenza proprio a Disqus, e ad altri servizi simili.

Il sito web di TechCrunch sta testando in queste ore i nuovi commenti Facebook per amministrare le discussioni inerenti all’argomento (qui potete vedere un esempio) ma sembra che l’esperimento non soddisfi pienamente i lettori, che si lamentano per l’integrazione automatica delle discussioni sulle bacheche Facebook, giudicando come invasiva la commistione fra pubblico e privato. Infatti, quando una persona lascia un commento su un sito che sta utilizzando i Facebook Comments, questo appare anche sulla pagina del profilo con un link al testo originale, ed è visibile anche ai propri contatti. Cosa che non fa piacere a tutti.
